How can I check my domain health?
Your domain health determines whether your emails reach the inbox or land in spam. Three DNS records — SPF, DKIM and DMARC — tell providers like Gmail and Outlook that your emails are genuinely from you.
Missing or misconfigured records are the single most common reason good emails get filtered, no matter how well written they are.
To use:
1. Go to Outreach › Email Deliverability
2. Each of your sending domains is checked automatically and shown as Healthy or Needs attention
3. For any domain that needs attention, follow the suggested fix shown on the card
4. Apply the record at your domain registrar, then reload the page to confirm
What each record does
- SPF — lists which servers are allowed to send email for your domain
- DKIM — adds a cryptographic signature proving the message wasn't altered
- DMARC — tells inbox providers what to do with mail that fails the checks above
For step-by-step setup instructions for your specific registrar and email provider, see the DNS guides in the FAQs.
One-click unsubscribe
Gmail and Yahoo now require bulk senders to support one-click unsubscribe. LeadSwift adds the required List-Unsubscribe header to every email automatically — there is nothing for you to configure.
This puts a native "Unsubscribe" link at the top of your email in Gmail. Anyone using it is added to your unsubscribe list and immediately removed from any sequence they're in, exactly like clicking the unsubscribe link in your email body.
You can review everyone who has opted out on the Unsubscribes page.
Blocklists
If your domain or mail server lands on a blocklist, many inboxes will reject your emails or send them straight to spam. Outreach › Email Deliverability now checks this for you.
- Your domains — each domain card has a "Blocklists (Spamhaus DBL)" row showing Not listed or Listed. A listed domain is marked Needs attention.
- Your own mail servers — if you send through a mail server you run yourself, the "Sending server blocklists" table checks its IP addresses against Spamhaus ZEN and SpamCop. Google, Microsoft and other large providers are not checked, because they manage the reputation of their own shared servers.
Important: If a domain is listed, pause the campaigns that send from it, then look the domain up at check.spamhaus.org for the steps to have it removed.
If a check shows Unavailable, the blocklist didn't answer at that moment. It doesn't mean anything is wrong with your domain.
Sending account health
The "Sending account health" table on the same page gives every sending account a score from 0 to 100, based on its last 30 days of sending:
- Sent, Open rate and Reply rate over the last 30 days
- Errors today — emails that failed to send today
- Health — Healthy (80 and above), Watch (60 to 79) or At risk (below 60)
The score starts at 100 and loses points for sending errors today, a low reply or open rate, and a blocklisted domain. Rates are only judged once an account has sent at least 50 emails. Accounts with too little activity show Not enough data.
Open rates are only counted if open tracking is enabled on your accounts. Treat an account marked Watch or At risk as a signal to take a closer look: check its errors, lower its daily volume, or keep it warming up.
