Why are some emails filtered?
We maintain a keyword blacklist for email addresses. These are valid email addresses that may not be appropriate for your marketing campaigns. Examples include addresses like "dmca@", "privacy@", "jobs@", or those unrelated to the actual business—such as domains like "wixsite.com".
Some blacklist entries, like ".gov", might still be relevant to your lead generation goals. In such cases, it may be helpful to manually review email addresses that are being hidden due to these filters.
To do this:
1. In your settings, clear the list under "Blacklist email keywords" and disable "Auto-update blacklist".
2. Return to the leads report and view the contacts for a business that previously had them filtered. You can identify which keyword is responsible by comparing the missing contact's address against the the original blacklist. Press the "Latest list" button in your settings to view this list.
3. Press the "Reset list" button in your settings to restore the original blacklist, then remove any keywords that may be causing false positives (e.g. ".gov").
